The creative process is one of blood, sweat, and tears, throwing it all in the garbage, and starting over with more blood, sweat, and tears. I had written ten chapters of my current work in progress when I decided that I just couldn't connect with the story, so I tossed it all out and started from scratch. Back to page one.
The good news is that this time it's coming far more easily, and I'm already back to chapter ten of the rewrite. I'm on pace to have it available for sale by my personal deadline: Ridgely's annual Strawberry Festival in May. My graphic designer is busy at work on the cover art, which I hope to be able to share with you very soon.
It's still set in my sweet, historic town of Ridgely, Maryland, I've just changed the characters and tweaked the plot a bit. I'm still working out some of the details, but I plan to make it the first of a three book series. More information will become available at a later date...
For now, I am just happy to announce that there will be another novel released this year. There for a while, I didn't think it was actually going to happen!
