In 2015, when I moved from Centreville to Ridgely, MD, I knew that my next novel series would be set in this quaint, historic town. The old train station was still holding up, and I knew that it would make the perfect cover for the next book. As luck would have it, while I was busy finishing the last series, the Ridgely Historical Society decided to undertake the renovation of said train station, which was completed just in time for my graphic designer, Jody Christian, to snap some photos before the leaves turned.
The last few months have been pretty hectic for me, but I'm hoping things will slow down and I'll have more time and energy to focus on developing the next novel. Although I've set out at a snail's pace, I'm hopeful that as I transition from research and development into story-writing, the process will speed up.
